IN 2021, LEARN TO SHOW UP
Early last year, I made a deliberate and intentional decision to ensure I register my presence on the social media space.
For instance, If the contents I’d shared on social media last year was just 50%, I decided that this year I will increase it.
How was that achieved?
I consistently showed up.
I consistently shared my contents.
I consistently made myself available for training.
I consistently engaged in meaning discussions that will showcase my writing and speaking skills.
Because of my consistency in showing up, I was offered a free training worth #30,000.
In 2021, please try as much as you can to always show up online.
Not showing up to crack or share jokes.
Not showing up for gossips.
Not showing up to tell her the latest phone you have.
Not showing up to show us your latest hairstyle.
Not showing up to tell us you are in a relationship.
Show up what you offer.
Show up what you can do.
Show up on those your admired role models platforms.
You cannot become relevant globally when you fail to show up.
Are you are an educator? Show up.
A trader, a fashion designer, a graphics designer, a cobbler, a caterer? Whichever, please show up.
The second wave of Covid is here, what if there was another lockdown?
What if there is no physical interaction, is that how your business will crumble?
Is that how your skill, your talents will die? Simply because you’ve not been showing up on the digital space.
2021 is a year of showing up.
Showing up could fetch you the desired results you expected.
Attend seminars whether offline or online. Attend conferences, volunteer. Just show up.
You learn, unlearn and relearn when you show up.
Don’t live a recycled lifestyle.
Please show up in this coming year.
Don’t just be idle, naive or secluded at one corner.
Show up and let the world know what you’ve got.
If there was a repetition of lockdown this year, will you be financially stable, spiritually balance and physically/digitally impactful?
Think about it.
